4. Data Processing and Third Parties
4.1 AI Processing
Email content and knowledge base data is processed by OpenAI's API to provide AI-powered analysis. OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and data processing terms. We send a hashed identifier (not your actual email address) to OpenAI for safety and abuse prevention purposes.
4.2 Other Third Parties
- Google: For Gmail authentication and reCAPTCHA bot protection
- Microsoft: For Outlook authentication
- Vercel: For hosting and analytics
- Sentry: For error monitoring and performance tracking
5. Data Retention
We do not permanently store your email content or analysis results on our servers. Data is processed in real-time and is stored temporarily in your browser's local storage for your convenience during your session. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the "Start New Analysis" feature.
Rate limiting data (hashed identifiers and request counts) is stored in memory and automatically expires after 24 hours.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- OAuth 2.0 for secure email account authentication
- reCAPTCHA to prevent automated abuse
- Rate limiting to prevent service abuse
